Underrated! Really impressed by this place, the quality of food is outstanding especially at this price point. As some other folks have commented, I didn’t expect to find this level of food in a mall but am glad I came by. Had the Taiwanese Noodle Soup and their handmade pork and chive dumplings. The soup came with a generous amount of meat and was packed with flavor. The dumplings are excellent. How does this place not have a 4.5-type rating?

A hidden gem in the Newport mall food court serving authentic Chinese/Taiwanese noodles and dumplings. I don’t understand how this place has a rating under 4 stars. We ordered the Taiwanese beef noodle soup, chicken “juicy” (soup) dumpling, and spicy wontons. The noodle soup was rich in flavor, the noodles had a lovely chew, and the beef portion was substantial and great texture. I’ll definitely be back!

I only ordered the "Juicy Pork Dumplings" (also known as soup dumplings or xiaolongbao). They take about 10 minutes to prepare, but they were delicious and well worth the wait. I plan to stop by to eat some more before the end of my trip.

I order the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup and the Soy eggs. Both of them are authentically prepared. The portion of the beef and vegetables are very generous. Noodles are handmade and cooked to Al Dente style, which is perfect for this type of soup. Soy eggs are nicely flavored and taste fresh.

The beef noodle soup is really really good. Beef was flavorful and tender, and the soup tasted meaty and rich. I don’t understand why this place is called dumpling cafe because the beef noodle soup is the best that they offer. Soy egg was a nice addition to the soup. They have other soup options and not as good as the beef noodle soup.

I didn't expect to find food this good at a food court! The dumplings here are amazing. So hard to decide which I liked more, steamed or pan fired, they were both so good. Pan fried cost a little extra and adds a nice crispy texture but steamed was clean (sans oil) and tasted very fresh. The crispy chicken soup noodle hits the spot on a cold day. It very flavorful and the noodles were served firm (the way I like it!). They give you a very generous portion of chicken. I left stuffed!

A not-so-secret gem at the food court in Newport mall. The Taiwanese beef noodles always hit the spot, with huge chunks of tender beef and fresh bok choy. A close second are the pork chop noodles, with a super rich, milky soup and crispy pork cutlet. I also love their rendition of 卤肉饭 braised pork rice which mixes in bits of firm tofu and mushrooms. At 15/bowl, this is a perfect quick meal and I’m always satisfied and happy!

N4 is so good. If they can use rice noodles it will be even better. Eat the fired chicken before the soup makes it soggy.
